We at the Florida Finishing Trades Institute want to ensure our apprentices have access to the most up to date and accurate information. That is why we created this page specifically for apprentices in the FLFTI apprenticeship programs. Here apprentices can check out their class schedules, download important documents and connect with us all in one place.
For current block classes please speak with your training coordinator.
To be an apprentice with FLFTI you must complete OJL. All existing apprentices must have completed and signed OJL books every six months from your foreman. Please turn in your OJL book to your training coordinator.
During block classes there are certain expectations we have for all apprentices, included but not limited to the following:
For a complete tool list please view the Apprentice Rules located in the download section of this page. Once you have downloaded the Apprentice Rules, locate the tools you need for your specific trade in the document.
If you have questions regarding your class training schedule reach out to the training department or the training coordinator for your trade. Remember - training coordinators are trade specific and only your assigned coordinator can provide you with certain training related information.
The FLFTI apprenticeship program is offered to members in good standing of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. As the training department - we do not collect dues, process payments and we would never ask you for money paid directly to us. Please contact IUPAT District Council 78 for dues information.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
